Jonathan Pan of Scientia Advisors is quoted in the November 11th article from BioPharm Insight titled "Astellas to cut R&D costs with in-house focus though still pursuing oncology candidates; well-placed for mid-size acquisitions." This article discusses Astellas plans for development and potential for acquisition of Medivation, a biopharmaceutical company that has the rights to certain drugs coveted in the market. Pan is quoted saying "Whether Astellas has to buy Medivation just to get all the rights to MDV3100 is the main question and would depend on detail in the contract."
