Patrick Terry Presents Session on "Healthcare Reform" at MassBIO Annual Meeting on Personalized Medicine

Healthcare Reform
As we all know, personalized medicine can offer better-targeted treatments, health system cost savings and an enhanced understanding of care options' comparative effectiveness. It is our duty as an industry and health care professionals to develop new and innovative ways to treat and deliver therapies and manage information that will achieve this goal. We must also advocate strongly on regulation and reimbursement issues, and educate decision makers about the potential of personalized medicine. This policy discussion will be focused on the challenges of enabling personalized medicine, as well as the policy and operational changes that would facilitate connectivity, integration, reimbursement reform and secondary analysis of information.
